On April 18, 2025, Smooth Group welcomed a highly significant exchange event — the launch ceremony of the Smooth Group & Shenzhen University Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Project. Leaders from the School of Mechanical and Control Engineering of Shenzhen University visited Smooth Group, and together with the group's department leaders, they ushered in a new chapter in industry-academia-research collaboration.

Attending the meeting were Deng Lin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Control Engineering, Shenzhen University; Associate Researcher Zhu Zhengwu; Research Secretary (PhD in Mechanical Engineering) Ren Luyang; external mentor and industry-academia-research transformation consultant Yang Jian; along with leaders from various departments of the group.
